I was a student at Downing College, Cambridge University from 2008 to 2012. I achieved an MSci in Natural Sciences, specialising in Materials Science. The research project that I carried out in my final year was on optimising ZnO/Cu2O photovoltaics; it is this project that sparked my interest in semiconductors and solar cells. I look forward to continuing experimental research in the area of solar cells during my PhD. In addition to my academic life I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee and I'm infamous for my baking skills.

I completed my PhD in 2016 and was awarded a 1 year Postdoctoral position, my research topic is “Investigating Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) as a tool to stabilise perovskite solar cells”
